Q: What should I do when my phone or SIM card is lost/stolen or damaged?


A: Please call the Contact Centre on 234 or +95997000234 to speak to one of our Champions. They will put a stop on your SIM card. You will need to go into an Ooredoo store with your NRC ID (or passport for Foreigners) in order to get a replacement SIM.

Q: My SIM card is blocked, what should I do?


A: If you have keyed your PIN number incorrectly 3 times, the SIM will be locked. If you have the SIM package, there is a PUK number on it. Key this number into your phone and it will unlock the SIM. If you do not have the SIM package, then call our Contact Centre on 234 and they will assist you.

Q: What is a Pin Unblocking Key (PUK)?


A: This is the number you will need if you have locked your SIM by incorrectly keying in the PIN number repeatedly.

Q: What number should I call for assistance or enquiries and charges?


A: From an Ooredoo SIM you can call for free on 234. Our Contact Centre is open 24 hours 7 days per week. From a non Ooredoo SIM the number is +95997000234. Note calling the Ooredoo Contact Centre from another service provider will be charged by the service provider.
